with a 90 day parts warranty and includes an extended warranty for parts
at half price should they fail up to 180 days after equipment has been
received.
7. There’s never a charge for technical support for equipment purchased
from BWI. Free telephone and email support is available for equipment purchased
by BWI for the life of the equipment. Additionally we offer free Webex
remote diagnostic service during the warranty period of equipment
purchased from BWI. We have 8 on-staff technicians here
to answer your questions.
8. We have an extensive inventory of parts. We stock the most commonly
replaced parts for most of the imagesetters we sell. We also have parts
for scanners, processor, platesetters, RIPs, and proofers. Not certain
what part you need? Our technicians are available to troubleshoot your
equipment problem.

What warranty or guarantees does your
equipment have?
|
| Refurbished equipment is guaranteed to operate to factory
specifications.
All refurbished equipment includes a 90 day parts warranty. Plus, the
next 90 days replacement parts are half price.
New equipment includes the manufacturer’s warranty. Contact BWI
for details.
NOTE: Warranty period commences 15 days after delivery of the equipment,
unless other arrangements have been made with BWI.

What support does BWI provide?
|
| There’s never a charge for technical support for equipment
purchased from BWI. Free phone and email support is available for your system
for the life of the equipment. Whether you need to troubleshoot a problem
or just have a question on operating the machine, we’re here to help.
We have 8 on-staff technicians to support you.
There is no charge for technical support for parts purchases. Our technicians
can help you determine what part you need, and also assist you with questions
on installation of the part.
We also offer in-house repair service and on-site service. These services
are available at the following rates:
For repairs done at BWI $160.00 per hour
Travel Rate $110.00 per hour (maximum $900/day for travel)
On-Site Labor $175.00 per hour
WEBEX - Remote Diagnostic Service:
Our technician interacts with your computer via the internet to diagnose and correct problems with your recorder or RIP.

Can I install the equipment myself?
|
| This depends on the complexity of the equipment and the level
of technical expertise in your organization.
Unless otherwise stated, installation is not included in the offering
price of equipment. Often, the Buyer can self-install the merchandise.
However, BWI does not warrant you will be able to install the equipment
without professional assistance. Should the equipment, for any reason,
require professional installation, the Buyer will be responsible for all
travel time plus the normal installation time.
