General Information
 
 

BWI has a vast inventory of parts available for many manufacturers/models of prepress equipment. We have parts available for platesetters, imagesetters, scanners, proofing devices,  and processors.  Often we may have parted a whole machine so while the individual parts are not listed, the parts listing will indicate that the machine has been added to parts inventory.  

We can often source new parts if used parts are not available.

All parts are used unless specified otherwise.

Parts are subject to availability and pricing is subject to change .

PARTS SALES

All parts are sold on a non-exchange basis unless specified otherwise. Parts sold that require an exchange part to be shipped to BWI will not be shipped out until the exchange part is received at the BWI offices.

  Business Hours
For processing emails and orders are Monday through Friday, 9 am – 4 pm Eastern Standard Time, except for designated holidays.
  Minimum Order Policy
A $100. minimum applies to all orders for in-stock parts.  For special order items a $ 250.00 minimum applies.
  Special Order Items
BWI will special order items not in stock for our customers. These items are not returnable unless they are defective, and must be sent back to the BWI offices within 15 days of receipt of order.

  Damaged Goods Policy
Contact BWI immediately if your package arrives damaged. Retain all original packaging material. Make a note on the Bill of Lading that package was damaged and interior damage is unknown. BWI will make every effort to send a replacement part as soon as possible and will work with you to resolve the problem with the shipper.

 

PAYMENT

U.S. orders - most parts must be prepaid prior to shipment – Visa®, Mastercard®, and American Express® cards accepted. Your information will be destroyed and/or purged upon completion of each transaction. Download our credit card authorization form now! Within the United States shipments can also be sent C.O.D

Overseas orders must be paid via bank wire transfer.  Please add $25. USD to your total to cover all wire fees. Contact us for bank wire details.

SHIPPING

All parts are shipped by FedEX standard within the continental U.S. unless specified otherwise. Overseas orders are shipped by the most economical method unless specified otherwise.

NOTE: The shipping cost is not included in the parts price and will be added to the transaction.

Please contact us for a shipping estimate on any parts orders. Shipping is based on size, weight, and destination of order.
